…of the Obama Coalition”, Thomas Edsall, by pushing “takers” into a non-working, entitlement, nanny state, socialistic philosophical ideology. Republicanism is not lost but it is certainly a candidate for a “Progressive Lite” label….or what as “Congress is Useless” all about? http://www.hollywoodrepublican.net/2011/11/congress-is-useless/ And all that is supported in academia today is under the myth of “academic freedom”. Collectivism and totalit…

Loyal Reader and Friends: I am finally back from a long four month trip to Thailand where I was shooting my feature film entitled, “Elephant White.” The film which stars Kevin Bacon and Djimon Hounsou is currently in post-production and will be complete sometime in December. Now, that I am home and relaxed, I will get back to writing at least one article per week for this column. Again, I want to thank Ira Sch…

As you all know, I am in Thailand prepping a movie. However, my joy is overflowing right now. We have begun to take back our country. The Senate seat held by Ted Kennedy for longer than a lot of people have been alive is now in the hands of a Republican. Goodbye super-majority in the Senate to the Democrats. Goodbye to Ted and the rest of the Kennedy clan. May their legacy rest in peace and may they finally be…

Here is an article about my Thai movie. If you can find the full article in “The Nation”, a Bangkok Newspaper, you can see some quotes I have made about the current political situation in Thailand which also shows my views on Free Speech as expressed in this column. The third degree with Kevin Bacon and Elephant White …

… is beginning to look like the traditional tax and spend policies of Democrats that go back to Lyndon Johnson and Jimmy Carter. The old world Democrats are back to haunt us. Maybe I should go back to my cave in the jungles of Thailand. Am I mistaken or did the United States reject this kind of thinking by not electing George McGovern, Walter Mondale, or Michael Dukakis president? Stimulus packages do not work. Japan in the 1990’s passed one stimu…

…f politics and the public eye. Caroline should not get any Senate seat, especially by appointment, and good old Teddy should be slowly walked away from his. In closing, I wish you all a happy and healthy new year. I am off to Thailand to shoot a movie and will be writing this column from a foreign perspective for the next two months. © 2009 Frank T. I really have been having a tough time trying to decide what to write about for the past few weeks. I am back in the states after three months in Thailand in which I made a lot of friends and worked really hard. I miss most of the people I met there, but I am glad to be back. I actually miss one a lot more than the others. But, that’s a whole different story and not necessarily for this column. Now, onto politics which is now and will always be …

Well, I am now settled in Bangkok which will be my home for the next two months. I’m here prepping a film for the ABC Family Channel, entitled, “The Prince and Me 4.” It’s a cute little romantic comedy about the King and Queen of Denmark attending a royal wedding in the fictional Asian country of Sangyoon. But, promoting my film career is not why I write these columns. I write them to discuss politics. And, I must state that being outside of the…

We have just completed our first week of photography on “The Prince and Me 4.” The production is going really well except for a slight mishap on the set the other day. It was Friday the 13th. The sun was shining and there was not one cloud in the sky. However, it suddenly became very windy. In fact, so windy that a funnel cloud formed and lifted the lunch tent about fifty feet into the air. The tent dropped and it was suddenly very calm again. A…

I am on vacation in South East Asia visiting friends and touring some areas that I am quite familiar with and some not so much. I have not had much access to news or the internet until the last two days. However, from what I have heard recently, there are definitely a few things that need to be addressed. A few days ago, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, made a speech in we he agreed for the first time to the possibility of a two state …
