I am down to my last few days of pre-production here in Thailand. We officially start shooting “Prince and Me 4” on Monday. It is now Friday afternoon here. The cast and crew are working their butts off and things are coming together. I’m going to have to make this column shorter than usual, but there are some things that I feel have to be said about this pending stimulus package and about President Obama’s declaration this week on executive pay…

…es and nuclear bombs and nobody does anything about it. Obama apologizes for American arrogance in the past and then cannot get the EU or anyone else to agree to his foreign policy or to spend more money on their own domestic stimulus plans. In Russia, he speaks, declares the meetings successful, but nothing happens. Then, in a video that was not played at all by the liberal media in the United States, none of the Russian government officials sha…

…ers, it seems that the world truly is falling apart. Well, at least, that is what Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama would want everyone to think. The biggest spending package in the history of the United States, in the guise of a stimulus package, is now law. Unfortunately, as I have said many times in the past few months, it is not working and will not work. Unemployment is up. California has just hit double digits in that category. The banks are st…

…to the detail of Mr. Morris’ article, but I highly recommend that you read it. In summation, the free market will cease to exist and our economy will be controlled by the free spending liberal activists. The proposed economic stimulus package of approximately 750 billion to one trillion dollars is a means to this end. The American government will now be borrowing from lord knows who to pay for welfare in the form of tax cuts for the poor, infrast…

…is another set of statistics that might interest you. They were published Friday, March 26, by the Republican Ways and Means Committee in response to some recent claims by Obama. According to the president, the February 2009 stimulus bill created approximately 2,000,000 jobs and is on track to create another 1,500,000 jobs during the remainder of 2010. Unfortunately, the US Department of Labor disagrees. Here’s a table comparing the admin…

… praying to God or any gods whatsoever about how to get out of this mess. The only thing the Obama administration can come up with is to spend money. And, boy is it spending money. By the time you read this, the coveted Obama stimulus package will probably be law. And, this is no small tornado. This is the real thing. The current spending package amounts to approximately 780 billion dollars which thankfully is substantially less than the 925 bill…

Every article you read these days from the liberal media has a very clear message: the Republican Party is dead and should be buried. Conservatism is in shambles. The Democrats have the upper hand and the correct solution for the country. Tax and Spend is working. The Stimulus is working. Foreign powers love us. All is happy in liberal land. I beg to differ. In fact, I believe the evidence is stronger each day that the Republican Party is making…

… seemed on the superficial level to offer continuity, it was actually an ideological reversal, back to the Liberal wing of the Republican Party. Though he lambasted his opponent Michael Dukakis, tarring him with the “Liberal” label, which Reaganism had turned into a dirty word, Bush himself was every bit a Progressive. His admitted trouble with “the vision thing” prevented him from continuing with Reagan’s unfinished work: shrinking government, e…

… this a sign of the current economic situation? Last week at the G20 meeting, President Obama tried to coerce the leaders of the major economic powers to follow his lead and to spend billions of dollars in additional economic stimulus packages in order to solve this deepening economic crisis. Of course, while he was doing this, he was apologizing to the world for being an American and for American “arrogance”. The liberals in this country seem to…
