… purposes, a terrorist group. And you? Well, you’ve donated to the terrorist organization. You’ve participated in its meetings. The night this angry man walked in, you didn’t call the authorities. * Can the President have the military come and arrest you? Yes! * Can he (or she) send you to a military tribunal for trial or just hold you indefinitely in a military facility, without charges? Yes! Even the bill co-sponsor, Senator McCain, appears to …

…f (Iran) or we will.” Amongst all this turmoil, is now the correct time to lower the defense budget by twenty percent? That’s right, twenty percent! With Obama’s record budget passed by Congress last week you would think that military spending would increase as well. But, no! President Obama has decided to disarm at a time when we are in the midst of two wars, Iraq and Afghanistan; when North Korea and Iran are threatening to join the list of nuc…

… nuclear capability to do some real damage somewhere near us if not on our own soil. God forbid these rogue nations blow up a city somewhere in the world, but if they do, the White House will waffle instead of taking decisive military action. Barry can switch off Fox News and watch all the inauguration video he wants, but he will be blamed for enabling our enemies. If harm comes our way, this nation will scurry to the values and policies which ha…

…World Order’s acquisition of its substitute for oil which just happens to be located on Pandora. There are scientists assigned by the New World Order to Pandora to negotiate a peaceful solution, but they are overruled by the military and the business interests at every turn. Eventually, the military solution is the final solution. The military then attacks with pure hatred and determination the locals on the planet. They do not care for the sanc…

…t,” which never succeeded in illuminating the path his presidency would follow. What became apparent when George W. Bush took office was that “compassionate Conservatism” was more Republican progressivism, which would include military adventurism, expensive and exhaustive nation-building, and expanded, unaffordable and ineffective social programs ranging from No Child Left Behind to S-CHIP to Medicare prescription drug benefits, coupled with addi…

Today was a somber day at Ft. Hood Texas as the soldiers and civilians killed and wounded in the horrific shooting there were honored. It was just last week on November 5th at 1:34 pm (CST) that the mundane routine of the sprawling military base in Killeen Texas was shattered by the sound of gunfire. When the smoke cleared 11 were dead and 32 lay wounded (two of the wounded later died at the hospital). The gunman, U.S. Army psychiatrist Major N…

As a child growing up in a small suburban town just outside New York City I always looked forward to “Memorial Day”. Besides the obvious thrill of being off from school, I always looked forward to our “Memorial Day” parade. It stretched half way through the city and included fire trucks, police cars, High School bands, the local chapter of the VFW, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and several sharply dressed military drill teams. Most of the 75,000 that …

… applause. “Yes”, I said, “but I didn’t see any performers near the escalators”. She explained to me that the applause wasn’t for the entertainers. It was an expression of gratitude for our military men and women who were coming home for Christmas. A lot of thoughts raced through my head at that moment. • This was the first time I had heard applause for the Armed Forces at the airport. • It was sincere and …

First Lady Michelle Obama and Second Lady Jill Biden were recently booed by NASCAR fans at the Ford 400 race in Florida. They were there as grand marshals for the NASCAR season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway, appearing as part of their charitable campaign to support military veterans and their families who, incidentally, drew major cheers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5sN0mJ2p0g After the incident, I suggested the following: I guess this …
