Since the health care debate has wound down a little as a result of President Obama’s speech on Wednesday which, by the way, was pure rhetoric and seen by the General Public and pundits as a failure because of its lack of new ideas and detail, I have decided to tackle a subject other than health care reform in this article. What makes a liberal tick? Why are there such major differences between the two parties in this country? The other day I wa…

…rocked the GOP for the last fifty years. The Republican Party has not been truly united since the days of the paternalistic and ideologically neutral Eisenhower administration. After Eisenhower, the rift became evident as the Liberal and Conservative wings clashed, and their standard-bearers battled for supremacy. In the early 1960s, Conservatives rallied around Barry Goldwater to challenge the Liberals who favored Nelson Rockefeller. Goldwater w…

…clined to do so, or to have much patience with those who so urge it.” […] And since ideas rule the world, the ideologues, having won over the intellectual class, simply walked in and started to run things.[…] That, a thousand Liberals who read this sentiment will say with relief, is clearly not enough! It isn’t enough. But it is at this point that we steal the march. For we offer, besides ourselves, a position that has not grown old under the wei…

Here is a short articles written by Craig Covello that I found very interesting. Let me know what you think. Intangible Added Value A liberal friend of mine posted to Facebook what he considered to be an interesting and entertaining speech. It was made by Rory Sutherland, who is in advertising and not to be confused with the professional bicycle racer. In fact, Rory is the Executive Creative Director and Vice-Chairman, OgilvyOne London …

…217;t care for his participation in it as they look for social justice. It is not that the mob opposes only crony capitalism, they don’t want Wall Street part of the alliance, never mind the fact that without the Wall Street liberals and leftist billionaires like George Soros, there is no funding for their tactics. For years, many on Wall Street provided support for the various demands that street activist like ACORN demanded as part of the gra…

…isions that were unpopular, but he made them because he believed he was doing the right thing. In time, the American population and maybe even the world population will feel the same way. However, Nancy Pelosi and her radical liberal partners will never feel that way. In fact, Ms. Pelosi, in her typical fashion has hinted that Congress may investigate potential war crimes of the Bush administration and prosecute if necessary. Obama’s initial resp…

Margaret Sanger Planned Parenthood was founded in 1921 as the American Birth Control League by Margaret Sanger. Ms. Sanger was a known progressive from that era and a firm believer in Eugenics and Race Control. Contrary to current liberal beliefs, the original birth control movement of which Margaret Sanger was a proponent had nothing to do with a women’s right to choose. It was all about white supremacy and the cleansing of the races. …

…hose conservative moral values? We need to know this before we can proceed. Most of the conservatives I’ve talked to are not shy about what they believe in. To list them all would take too long so a link to Conservative vs. Liberal values can be found at the end of this article. Most of those issues have been “hot topics” for quite some time and a large section of this country does not subscribe to all of those beliefs. Americans are indeed ang…

…xcessive federal spending is hurting the economy. And, what have our representatives in Congress done to help us? Nancy Pelosi does nothing accept cost the US and California jobs with her constant big government, regulatory, liberal agenda. Her support of “Cap and Trade” and HR 3200 will not only effect the US Economy on the whole, but will have a double impact on the state of California. Outsourcing is already a problem here, but it will get mu…

… industrious and the opportunistic, between the productive and the litigious, between the larger-than-life and the petty. The racial and regional stereotypes that lurk in the background, and in the backs of the minds of every liberal hoping to undermine both Cain and Perry, are nowhere near as significant as the every widening divide between citizens who believe in self-reliance, thrift and hard-work, and those parasites in search of a lottery-st…
