But in recent years, the derisive term “denier” has been applied to anyone who is the least bit skeptical of the degree to which human activity is primarily responsible for global warming, or even if global warming is taking place. It’s disturbing to me that this would be the case, given that the body of evidence purporting to undergird the “truth” of anthropogenic global warming (AGW) is still…

… “by joining the union, I agree not to work as an actor on a film or television show that does not agree to abide by the SAG collective bargaining agreement.” This is SAG Rule One and its enforcement overseas is now known as Global Rule One. Prior to the turn of the Century, SAG never enforced Rule One outside of the USA. An American or foreign producer was free to hire SAG actors to shoot a film in Eastern Europe or anywhere else, and did not …

…e one who is guilty of discrimination and being racially biased. I do not believe that the Senate should give her a free ride. She should be examined very carefully before being put on the bench. Is the EPA Hiding Evidence on Global Warming? A report came out yesterday that the EPA could possibly be covering up evidence that global warming does not exist in order to allow President Obama to get his environmental agenda through Congress. Senator I…

The American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009, more commonly known as the Cap and Trade Bill is dangerous for the country and potentially disastrous for the economy. I cannot say this more simply. This bill which is designed to lower emissions and stop global warming will do nothing except raise the average Americans’ expenses and cause the loss of many American jobs. The bill passed in the House last week by a margin of less than ten votes…

… seemed on the superficial level to offer continuity, it was actually an ideological reversal, back to the Liberal wing of the Republican Party. Though he lambasted his opponent Michael Dukakis, tarring him with the “Liberal” label, which Reaganism had turned into a dirty word, Bush himself was every bit a Progressive. His admitted trouble with “the vision thing” prevented him from continuing with Reagan’s unfinished work: shrinking government, e…

Read between the lines and it has become painfully obvious that this president appears to be nothing more than a front man for powerful unions with global aspirations. Unions with bosses who believe they are the new, unelected policy makers and social architects. Just last week, the Wall Street Journal published an editorial written by ex-union boss Andy Stern. And t…
