Charles Rangel

Charles Rangel was a brave soldier in Korea and a long time Congressman for Harlem , who forever was asking the rich to pay their fair share. Of course, it turned out that he was never quite paying all of his taxes.  Among those taxes he forgot included some 17 years of unpaid taxes on property in the Dominican Republican, more than $500,000 in undisclosed financial assets and “inappropriately raised money from corporations with business before his congressional committee for a New York College. He won a close primary this past election and then won re-election easily.  So, Rangel has managed to do well for himself.
