Woodrow and Hussein were young men who grew up to be President Thomas Woodrow Wilson and President Barack Hussein Obama.

Some fear the political landscape will forsake unity and bi-partisanship, not from honest disagreements but rigid insane ideologies.  President Obama includes a poison pill to any consensus on green energy, cap and trade, further tax hikes, spending cuts, comprehensive immigration reform, climate change, gun violence, and sequestration.

The genius of this administration is in “campaigning against” the very results of their ideologies, policies, procedures and morality.  Castro, Hitler, Stalin, Chavez and Mao, all were seen, at their time, as crusaders against all that is wrong, the oppression of their people, which they fueled.  All while they were the architects of the crisis.

Teddy Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D. Roosevelt advanced the progressive agenda in America.  The progressives were avid modernizers.  They believed in science, technology, expertise—and especially education—as the grand solution to society’s weaknesses.

Characteristics of progressivism, not all bad, included a favorable attitude toward urban-industrial society, belief in mankind’s ability to improve the environment and conditions of life, belief in obligation to intervene in economic and social affairs, and a belief in the ability of experts and in efficiency of government intervention.  So where did it all go wrong?  In the insane radical extreme it is all wrong!

Thomas Woodrow Wilson was the 28th President of the United States, persuaded a Democratic Congress to pass major progressive reforms.  He had full control of American entry into World War I.  He based his re-election campaign around the slogan, “He kept us out of war”, but U.S. neutrality was challenged in early 1917 when the German Empire began unrestricted submarine warfare despite repeated strong warnings and tried to enlist Mexico as an ally.  The right had largely ignored or forgotten him.  Well, until now.

Wilson, pivoted on women’s suffrage.  “With the nation in arms, the need was not so much to keep the press from doing the hurtful things as to get them to do the helpful things.  It was not servants we wanted.  It was associates.”  Sound familiar?

Obama’s coalition includes gays, women, the young and minorities.  And oh, yes, the “press”, they are “associates”, the current day Edward Bernays and Walter Lippmanns.  This is not a criticism of genius; it is the truth about a “Top-Down, Bottom-Up, Inside-Out” political strategy.

Woodrow Wilson
Is Obama the next Wilson

“As the circumstances in the country get worse, as the economy worsens, as the debt worsens – whatever is our matrix, the calculated, as it gets worse – the low-information voters, who do not attach Obama’s policies to what is happening, will want more Obama.  The worse it gets, the more they’ll say he will be needed.”  The truth is he is at the “cause” level, campaigning against himself, successfully!

Wilson secured passage of the Federal Reserve Act, the product of “The Creature from Jekyll Island”, in late 1913.  The Democratic Party then, led by William Jennings Bryan, strenuously denounced private banks and Wall Street.

And Obama has done nothing to change our fiscal trajectory, which he condemns regularly as a political wedge issue, as he is on track to add over 8 trillion dollars to the national debt by 2016.  As we dribble on the economic “bottom” every up bounce is a “sure sign of recovery”?

This is driving real inflation of double digits; fiat money presses are pumping over 20-85 billion per month into toxic assets, giving a false sense of economic growth.  The long-term stock market surge has been largely driven by the Federal Reserve’s stimulus policies, specifically the central bank’s $2 trillion bond buying program.  Our debt is owned 30% by foreigners, 70% by our QE1,2,3 et al treasury.  This is a national credit card kiting scheme, taking advantage of a false financial float to make use of non-existent funds.  Is the Federal Reserve spending authorized by Congress?  Does it show up in the National debt?

Headlines read “Federal Reserve to keep spending $85 billion a month to shore up economy” until unemployment is less than 6.5%.  Stock market trading volume is down more than 30%, compared with the average August over the past five years, 75% of that volume generated by computer generated algorithms.  Humans making capital asset allocation decisions are indeed becoming rare, thus the integrity of the stock market as a financially prudent investment instrument is to be questioned.  What ever happen to Jon Corzine and MF Global?  And the stock market hits new highs 03/06/13.

The current strategy is not, in reality, the redistribution of wealth.  It is the redistribution of poverty, proof proffered alone by the increase in African American poverty rate of 25 to 28%.  The redistribution of wealth has descended into a poverty of ideas.

ObamaCare is the rebirth of “Flexner Report” of 1910, Carnegie’s veiled attempt to nationalize healthcare.  One would do better to listen to Benjamin Solomon “Ben” Carson, Sr. the Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, his Speech at the 2013 National Prayer Breakfast.

The ability to sustain current spending levels and future programs requires destructive taxation-the reason we left Britain.  Tax and spend is now revenue and invest.  “You cannot establish sound security on borrowed money.

So that the record of history is absolutely crystal clear.  That there is no alternative way, so far discovered, of improving the lot of the ordinary people that can hold a candle to the productive activities that are unleashed by a free enterprise system.Milton Friedman

Wilson’s relationship with African Americans was framed by a D.C. law making interracial marriages a felony.  The Postmaster General also ordered that his Washington offices be segregated, with the Treasury and Navy soon doing the same.  Wilson presumed that African Americans were less evolved than Anglo Saxons.  Wilson did not interfere with the well-established system of Jim Crow, mandated de jure racial segregation in many public facilities.  Woodrow marginalized African Americans at Princeton and in the government because of his perceived judgment of their intelligence uniquely defined.

Hussein’s relationship with half of the constitutional electorate, election statistics,  and Caucasian Americans is framed by  “All pretense of trying to win a majority of the white working class has been effectively jettisoned in favor of cementing a center-left coalition made up, on the one hand, of voters who have gotten ahead on the basis of educational attainment – professors, artists, designers, editors, human resources managers, lawyers, librarians, social workers, teachers and therapists – and a second, substantial constituency of lower-income voters who are disproportionately African-American and Hispanic.”  Hussein presumes that Caucasians are the devolving once majority, are less evolved in the wisdom of “liberation theology”.  The liberation of people of color, can we include “white”, from multiple forms of “imposed” political, social, economic, and religious subjugation?  It is alive and well today, possibly called insane, radical progressivism.

Hussein marginalizes Caucasian Republicans, alas all Republicans, in the electorate, the congress and the senate, because of his perceived judgment of their intelligence, political opposition, uniquely defined.  As one Democratic strategist once put it, “he will have to kill Romney” is this also “kill Republicans”?

Wilson’s vision came from a narcissistic, bigoted, superiority complex.  Nobody likes the “truth” when it is bad news.  It is a call to action, answered by whom?

Is Obama more a student of “social justice”, collectivism, liberation theology, a silent agenda of anti-Semitism, an entitlement state, like Europe?  And yet “The euro should now be recognized as an experiment that failed.”  What exactly is propping up the stock market?

US Real Unemployment Rate

The number of unemployed persons, at 12.3 million, was little changed in January 2013.  The Unemployment rate was 7.9 percent and has been at or near that level since September 2012.  “Millions of Americans are disappearing from the work force (9 million from 2009 -2012) because they can’t find jobs.”  “The overall unemployment rate doesn’t even count them anymore.  Nine million Americans have dropped out of the workforce since Obama became president.  Counting people who dropped out or can’t find full-time jobs, the real unemployment rate is 19 percent.”  And all of this has happened while America has lost over 9 million jobs since 2009.

Expanding government benefits is creating a permanent unemployment sector whose poverty rate is 14%, 3% higher than in 1973.  Close to 50% of all households embrace some form of government largess.  Our direction is that of Greece where the unemployment rate in that once great entitlement state stands at 27%.

There are two ways for America to go.  One is in the continued direction of freedom, liberty and self-determination.  The other route is through socialist policies to socialism settling into communism, the perfection of slavery, servants of the entitlement state.

That second new slavery will be the reality of debt bondage, a national debt indentured period where citizens will receive entitlements, food, accommodation, clothing and training for a debt too huge to ever be retired.  This is the new “company stores” of the old mining conglomerations.  It is the F. A. Hayek “The Road to Serfdom”, a modified but more evil slavery, and a colossal paradigm shift from plantation owner to state “command and control”, citizens kept in economic captivity.

Lack of vision is the false belief that all social problems can be solved and run out of Washington.  If it is easy to view racism through the prism of skin color, but is there a generic human racism, the human race,  viewed through the prism of collectivism versus, individualism, religion versus secularism, makers versus takers, totalitarianism versus freedom, liberty versus serfdom, selfishness versus self-interest, discipline versus chaos, socially liberal-let babies live versus insane radical progressivism-abortion,  exceptionalism versus socialism, fiscal conservatism versus indentured servitude, personal responsibility versus unreliability, accountability versus clueless, equal justice versus social justice and forgiveness versus revenge.  The context of fiscally conservative and socially liberal does not negate conservative fundamental and principled positions on social issues while still allowing for the evolution of morality.

Rand Paul, Ron Paul
Senator Rand Paul and his father Ron Paul

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) took to the senate floor, a filibuster extraordinaire, on 3/6/13 to give the Republican establishment, America, a case study on freedom, liberty, the role of government, the Constitution, Bill of Rights and the Federalists Papers.  This is a watershed moment.  Will it be wasted?

Is it not adversative for one to understand the evils of slavery and then embrace the road to serfdom?  Our cultural score board is the national debt.  When our great Republic runs “aground”, a man AWOL at the battle of Benghazi, providing cover for “Fast and Furious”, our President will anoint the “ground” as being Republican.

Is there not all too much in common with these two presidents?  Is there not to be a worse president than Woodrow Wilson?  History is the arbitrator.

It is the 2nd Amendment that is our defense against tyranny, the arbitrary or unrestrained exercise of power resulting in the individual’s state of subjection historical known as slavery.  What are we preparing ourselves for?

It is the false sense of entitlements; those who trade some of their liberty for a little temporary security deserve neither and will lose both, wisdom from Benjamin Franklin. Ah, yes, even Abraham Lincoln must be spinning in his grave.
