Charles Woods was interviewed by Sean Hannity regarding the death of Woods son, Ty , who was a Navy SEAL defending Americans in Benghazi, Libya on September 11th. I took the liberty of transcribing the broadcast. Please read it, then ask yourself whether you really believe that all politicians and political parties are the same. Ask yourself if it really does not matter who is elected in November. And if you receive some form of federal subsidy, ask yourself if that benefit, no matter how small or large, should buy your vote, overriding all other considerations. You might also ask yourself if political apathy or ignorance by some Americans should be excused or if it is inexcusable.
Charles Woods:
When I went to Washington DC when the bodies were flown in, I knew that there was something fishy. It was just obvious that something was wrong with this picture. In my mind, I questioned. This was obviously a long, drawnout battle. Why was there no immediate air support sent in, that would’ve saved the lives, not just of the other 30 people, but also the life of my son who truly was an American hero?
Now, it’s come out that pleas for help were made, not just by the other individuals, but also by my son. And these pleas were turned down by the White House. Now, as you know, I am a retired attorney. And I know that these actions legally do not constitute murder. But in my mind, the people in the White House, all of them who had authority to send in reinforcements to prevent what they knew was going to be the death of my son, are guilty of murdering my son.
There’s new information that came out this morning that my son, on a couple of different occasions, requested permission to go to the aid of those 30 people who were attacked. And on at least two of those first occasions, he was told “stay where you’re at. Let them die. Don’t go.” It does not surprise me that my son disobeyed orders in order to save American lives. That’s the type of American hero he was.
One of the real touching e-mails I got was from an individual, I won’t mention the name, but I received an e-mail who said “your son’s sacrifice saved my life”. And he saved more than one life. That’s the type of man he was. That’s the type of leadership the military needs.
Hannity interjects, describing the timeline of the attack. The Navy SEAL heard shots and asked for assistance around 9:40 PM local Libya time (3:40 PM EDT), then continued to fight and defend the others until he was killed by a mortar at 4 AM (10 PM EDT), more than six hours later. Six crucial hours passed with no help from the White House situation room, even though senior leadership had been monitoring the siege from the beginning.
Woods continues -
That’s my understanding. For seven hours, the cowards in the White House were watching something they knew was going to potentially kill those 30 people and potentially kill my son. And they refused to do that, even though they had a moral duty to send support. They chose not to. This in not the way the SEALs operate. The SEALs are an honorable unit, and Ty was honorable by disobeying the powers in the White House that told him not to rescue those lives.
Hannity then asked Woods his thoughts regarding why the President would not acknowledge for two weeks that this was a premeditated terrorist attack on the anniversary of 9/11, preferring instead, to fabricate a story blaming this avoidable tragedy on an obscure You Tube video.
Charles Woods -
Unfortunately Sean, we have a generation of liars who have no moral background. Hopefully, my son’s sacrifice, his moral courage and his moral strength will encourage our next generation to be completely different. That we will change our direction. That we will raise up a new generation of true American heroes, such as my son, who have moral courage and who are not liars like many people in authority are nowadays.
Woods then described his encounter with Obama at Andrews Air Force Base as his son’s casket was unloaded from the plane -
What happened was, he (Obama) came through after everyone else had been in the room circulating, and he came over and shook my hand. I wanted to do more than just shake his hand, so I put my arm kind of around his shoulder just to have a little bit of physical warmth, not a major hug, but just a small one. And he kind of said, it wasn’t in a powerful voice, it was more of just a whiny little voice, “I’m sorry”. And I could tell by his voice that he wasn’t even sorry. It would be like a little kid who was told by the teacher to apologize to Johnny out on the playground. And when he looked at me, his face was pointed towards me, but he couldn’t look me in the eye. He was looking over my shoulder. (It was like) literally shaking hands with a dead fish. I did not believe him at all about being sorry, and now we understand why. Was he one of those cowards in the White House watching my son being murdered on TV and refusing to do anything? That’s a question that he will probably not have the courage to answer publicly, but I would personally like to know the answer and one of these days I’m sure that we will have the answer.
Opinion:
Charles Woods used strong language in describing his animosity towards this White House. That is understandable, but should not be simply written off as a father’s grief. How could a proud and loving father keep silent as new facts are uncovered, almost daily, that directly contradict past statements made by the Obama political machine, including -
1) Obama’s opening statement in the third presidential debate -
”Well, my first job as commander in chief, Bob, is to keep the American people safe. And that’s what we’ve done over the last four years.”
2) Joe Biden’s statement in the debate with Paul Ryan -
”Well, we weren’t told they wanted more security again. We did not know they wanted more security again. And by the way, at the time we were told exactly — we said exactly what the intelligence community told us that they knew.”
3) Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s comments to the press -
”… when the attack came yesterday, Libyans stood and fought to defend our post. “
”We are working to determine the precise motivations and methods of those who carried out this assault. Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior, along with the protest that took place at our Embassy in Cairo yesterday, as a response to inflammatory material posted on the internet.”
4) U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice’s statement on ABC Television -
“Our current best assessment, based on the information that we have at present, is that, in fact, what this began as, it was a spontaneous – not a premeditated – response to what had transpired in Cairo.”
5) White House Spokesman Jay Carney on Sept 13th -
“The protests we’re seeing around the region are in reaction to this movie. They are not directly in reaction to any policy of the United States or the government of the United States or the people of the United States.”
Ty Woods did not avoid his responsibility in the face of a despicable enemy, yet we can’t say the same for Obama, Biden, Clinton, Rice, or Carney. Instead, this White House offered no assistance to our Americans abroad , then tried to cover it up by stonewalling the issue after their fabricated story involving a ridiculous video was debunked.
Obama’s latest scandal may serve to seal his fate in losing this election, yet there is more to consider. Hillary will probably make a run for the presidency in 2016 as memories fade. If you conclude, however, that the State Department abandoned their diplomatic staff during a grenade attack, then justice demands an end to her political career as well. She did say that the buck stops with her, didn’t she?

I can’t believe that anyone in this country had such little intelligence that they would vote for such a moron and his crude, rude sewer level VP. What kind of people are we putting in office that shouldn’t even be allowed to pick up trash??? You do need some smarts to even pick up trash and it is sorely lacking with Obama and his band of idiots.
