âThe Air Force Academy has set aside an outdoor worship area for Pagans (The term Pagan generally refers to all religions that are not in the Abrahamic (Pertaining to Abraham, the patriarch; as, the Abrahamic covenant) category, the monotheistic faiths.), Wiccans â(Wicca is a modern Pagan religious movement. The other theological positions within Wicca range from monotheism to atheism). âDruidsâ (A Druid, they performed human sacrifices in the past, were members of the priestly class in Britain, Ireland, and Gaul, and possibly other parts of Celtic western Europe, during the Iron Age) âand other Earth-centered believers, school officials said Monday.â
Separation of Church and State is arguably not a Constitutional mandate. Yet there is a continuing effort to take âChristâ out of Christmas, âGodâ off of our fiat money and out of our Pledge of Allegiance. Maybe someday it will be extracted from âGod Damnâ whatever. First one must dilute our religious moral core, once Judeo-Christianâ, any religion that does not cause or advocate âharmâ will do, then suppress any spirituality in order to repress Conservatism and diminish America (radical progressivism).
âAll pretense of trying to win a majority of the white working class (reverse racism) has been effectively jettisoned in favor of cementing a center-left coalition (closer to Fascism and Communism-the end product of socialism) Â made up, on the one hand, of voters who have gotten ahead on the basis of educational attainment (entitlement) – professors, artists, designers, editors, human resources managers, lawyers, librarians, social workers, teachers and therapists – and a second, substantial constituency of lower-income voters who are disproportionately African-American and Hispanic.â This is the ascendancy of the âtakersâ over the âmakers.â
William F Buckley saw it coming in 1951. Buckley saw the danger of collectivism (another âismâ). So he authored âGod and Man at Yale (now the Air Force Academy): The Superstitions of âAcademic Freedomâ a prediction of serious problems, coming true, of the trajectory and nature of modern conservatism.
Buckley concluded in 1951, a fact today, that academia denied its students any sense of individualism pushing them, like the New York Times article (hyperlink above)  11/27/2011 âThe Future of the Obama Coalitionâ, Thomas Edsall, by pushing âtakersâ into a non-working, entitlement, nanny state, socialistic philosophical ideology. Republicanism is not lost but it is certainly a candidate for a âProgressive Liteâ labelâŠ.or what as âCongress is Uselessâ all about?
And all that is supported in academia today is under the myth of âacademic freedomâ. Collectivism and totalitarianism were associated with Josef Stalin and Mao Tse-tung. Would not our institutions of higher education, (maybe not), dismiss proponents of racism, anti-Semitism, communism (well, except Van Jones), homophobia, Nazism and Islamophobia? And if so, appropriately, this is not academic freedom!
Religion and Economics is at the core our discontent. Intertwined Buckley said âThat the duel between Christianity and atheism is the most important in the world.â
âI further believe that the struggle between âindividualism and collectivism is the same struggle (the duel between Christianity and atheism) reproduced on another level.â This is found in the Preface to âGod and Man at Yale (now the Air Force Academy): The Superstitions of âAcademic Freedomâ
Back in 1951 Buckley maintained that Ivy League Ivory Towers did not, nor do they now, teach a fair and balanced view of laissez-faire economics. This is the essence of Objectivism and Individualism.
Rather there is a hard core âindoctrinationâ of Keynesian economics, thoroughly communalist. Thus, today, through President Obama policies, it is leading us down that slippery slope to collectivism. LAT OP-ED11/27/11, A36 âGod and man and William F. Buckley.â By Carl T. Bogus
Thus shoot the messenger, William F. Buckley, ignore the evolution of individualism to socialism, the attack on Judeo-Christian spirituality or any religion that abhors âharm to othersâ, and the rise of atheism in mild but ever more increasing radical forms, now invading The Air Force Academy.
